![]() ![]() PLATE leaves just two possible solutions. Plenty of WordleBot's suggestions narrow it down even further, with CRATE reducing it to six possible answers, CARTE five and SLATE just three. ![]() If you think that's hard to beat, you're sadly mistaken. But RATIO did nail down the correct positions of both 'A' and 'T' which meant that only 32 possible answers were left over. I typed it in and celebrated a four-turn win. With that revelation, I realized that 'E' was actually last after all, and the word was STYLE. Initially I assumed that the 'E' would have to be second as my only vowel, but then I remembered I hadn't used 'Y'. I was slightly wary that there might be a double letter involved, but I didn't want to try that yet, so I racked my brains for possible answers with a single 'E'. I now knew there was an 'E' in the mix, and WordleBot tells me this narrowed things down to just 15 possible answers*. Without any confirmed vowels, I wanted to test both 'U' and 'E' on my next move, which I did with TUNED. ![]()
